Chilli Paprika

Chilli Paprika (Capsicum annuum) refers to a group of sweet pepper varieties, often larger and milder than many other chillies, typically ranging from 0 to 500 Scoville Heat Units. Grown in South Africa, paprika peppers are known for their sweet, sometimes slightly smoky flavour. They are commonly dried and ground into the vibrant red spice paprika, used extensively in seasoning a wide variety of dishes, including stews, soups, sausages, and as a colourful garnish. Fresh paprika peppers can be used like bell peppers in salads and cooking.
