Chinese Cabbage Pak-Choi

Chinese Cabbage Pak Choi (Brassica rapa var. chinensis), also known as bok choy, is a type of Chinese cabbage with smooth, dark green leaves and crisp, white or light green stalks. Widely grown in South Africa, it has a mild, slightly sweet, and subtly mustardy flavour. Pak choi is excellent stir-fried, steamed, added to soups and noodle dishes, or even grilled. Both the leaves and stalks are edible and offer a pleasant texture.
