Chinese Cabbage Tatsoi

Chinese Cabbage Tatsoi (Brassica rapa subsp. narinosa) is a petite, rosette-forming Chinese green with dark green, spoon-shaped leaves and thin, pale green stems. Grown in South Africa, it has a mild, slightly sweet, and delicate flavour with a subtle mustardy note, often described as more subtle than pak choi. Tatsoi is excellent in salads, stir-fries, and light sautés, where its tender leaves and mild flavour shine.
