Chives

Chives (Allium schoenoprasum), particularly the medium-leafed varieties, are a delightful perennial herb belonging to the onion family, prized for their delicate, mild onion flavour and vibrant green, hollow, grass-like leaves. These slender greens are a staple in European and American cuisine, celebrated for their ability to add a fresh, subtle allium note without overpowering other ingredients.
